 Rocket Challenge

Hello Bloggers! This week on the 28.10.20 my class did the rocket challenge. Last week we did the rocket challenge too. Our rocket didn't go that far out. There was a lot of wind and that made our rocket go back. We customized our rocket again and added bigger fins. We added a new nose too. We decided to do this because our would go higher and more far. We used the hot glue gun to glue on our fins and our nose. We put 210 ml of water . My group name was the Incredible thinkers. We had different duty. The people in my group was me and I was the chief engineer so  I checked if the materials were good. Angelina she was the team caption so she recorded the data. Faith she was the chief scientist she had to pump up the air into the bottle. Anthony he was the chief safety officer he had to take care of the people. 

There was Newtons Laws the first law was an object will keep on moving forever at the same speed and in a straight line, unless their was another force acting on it. This week we did another launch again it is the last launch. Angelina pored the water in the bottle we put 350 ml water then I put the bottle in the pumper. Faith pumped 60 psi air into the bottle. Our class counted down and I push the handle to make the bottle fly it went 14.46 m. Our team came last but it didn't matter. Next time we could add less water to the bottle.

Football training

 Football Training

This week on Thursday, I had football training in school. Me and my team were getting ready for next week to go to football zones. I went last year and I had lots of fun. For training we played around a little bit then we played a game. It was boys against girls. It was easy for the boys to win and we were going easy on the girls. We even had substitutes too. The boys team were winning 3 to 0. But then the girls scored a goal. I got substituted off after a while, then I came back in to be goalkeeper, for 7 minutes. My team had be training for 5 weeks. Last year for football zones our team lost none of our games. I hope it happens again. Keep on checking my blog to see what happens in football zones.

 

Mono prints

Hi bloggers. Today I am going to write about mono prints. Firstly I got an animal and that animal was a type of whale I dont know. l had to draw that animal on a paper in my art book then I had to draw the same thing on a sized 3 or 4 paper . After I finished I had to show the teacher and draw the same thing again on a the same sized paper to make it easier on put sellotape on the corner of both papers and trased it on the other paper. After I finished I put red color ink and get a roller and rolled the red ink on a white board and then put the red ink from the roller and rolled it all over the other white board. After I put all the ink on the board I got a paper and lined up my animal on the red ink. After I had to go over the animal without putting my arm on the paper. When I finished I had to take the paper off and the picture looked really cool. After I had to get three colors and color some part of the picture. On the second picture I had to do the same thing.

Basketball

Basketball

 On Wednesday the 8.9.2020 we had to training with our two coaches. their names were Mikey and Ronan. We first started a with a game we had to be on the line and if one of our feet was out of the line then we were out another way we could be out by getting tagged by taggers. But if one person got the bottle and gave it to one of the coaches everyone that was out will be back in. After we played that game we did some tricks with the coach. They tort us 5 tricks and my favorite is called in out. They even said they will give us 20 dollars if we did a hard trick. No one did the trick so no one got 20 dollars. After we did all the Basketball tricks. We did another game. We all got in to a circle and someone had the ball and another person try to get ball of them if you got the ball of that person then another person comes. We did that then my teacher and the coach versed each other and if the coach lost then we could punished by the kids. Our teacher did win but they didn't do the punishment.

Basketball Zones

On Tuesday the 4.8.2020 I went to Basketball Zones. I made it in because I have good teamwork. I even got in because I am good at basketball too. There were 10 people in our team. I went in my friends car to go to Trusts Arena. Trusts Arena is a place and you can play different type of sport there. When we arrived there we took our bags and walked up the stairs and and there were a lot of schools they were sitting on chairs. My school went on the end and we sat on the chairs. After we went on the basketball court and my team and I practiced shots and passing . When It was ten o,clock  we had our first basketball game and we destroyed the team. We played games.for the rest of the time. I scored a lot of goals and I nearly got a three pointer. We had ten games won 8 and lost 2. We played well. When it was 2:40 we went back to school and went home. Blog u later.

Cross Country

Cross country

Hello bloggers. Welcome back to my blog. Yesterday on 2.7.2020 my school did the cross country run. Every year six had to do a job. Their was stations and their were activities to. ON every station and activities their were a group of year six that explained the instructions. The year fours will go together as same as every year group. I was on station one I had to bring that year on the deck and they had to sit down. I had to stay on station one. This station was when the kids do the cross country run. I had to say my name then tell them to leave their drinks bottle on the flour  and take of the jumpers to. After I had to say that the boys go to the teacher and line up. After the teacher will tell them the course and when the teacher says go zoom everyone ran as fast as they could. Everyone did the race. After it was the year six time I was a little bit nervous. But I had came first every year so I new I was probably come first this year to. Every one packed up and the whole school was watching the years 6 race. The course looked easy but it was a little hard. I had to do two laps. When the teacher said go I went fast I was ahead of everyone. I finish the first lap and no one was behind me I did my second lap and finished the race and I came first. After a few minutes the people started finishing.

Week 11

Week 11

Hi Bloggers I am going to talk about this week me and my class did some really cool stuff. For reading my teacher read a book called Chicken Sunday. I had to go on my drive and then go to a personal response and write 3 stuff what I like about the story and I had to do other stuff to. My school was suppose to have cross country on Thursday but then it got postponed to next Thursday because of the weather. Instead of that on Thursday after lunch my class did the poetry competition. The poetry competition is you have to get a poem from somewhere then you have to learn it without looking at the poem. We did this for production so what part people is going to be on. I did okay I said my poem without looking at the sheet and I was not that scared to say poem. We even learned a lot about racism in school. We learn about racism because of what happened to George Floyd and the Black Lives Matter Movement. This week was a probably my best week in this month.
