Welcome to 2020 Yousuf blog

Hi welcome to my first blog in 2020 in the second week of school every one in Te Waka Ako started a getting to know you. Their were boxes that said family background and other stuff. For family background I had to write were I came from how many brothers and sisters I have and were I was born. My favourite box was things I like because I like a lot of stuff like playing cricket running I mostly like playing sports and playing video games like fortnite. Cybersmart

For cybersmart the teacher Mr Marget told us the rules for Kawa of Care. Kawa of Care means that you have to follow the rules and you have to hold your Chromebook properly and you have to bring your Chromebook charged to school everyday. After Mr Marget told us about the rules for Kawa of Care we did a quiz with the whole of Te Waka Ako the quiz was about Kawa of Care. Then he told us a activity that we have to do. We have to take 5 photos of a website that is good to go on it. After I took the 5 photos I had to write why it is good to go on this website.

Portrait

2 weeks a go everyone in Te Waka Ako stared making portraits. We choose a year and I choose the year 2000. I searched up 2000 fashion. It came up with people wearing the year 2000 clothes. I drew a style of 2000 clothes on my art book. We were just practising drawing in our art book. After I finished my art the teacher told me to draw a pattern on the right side of my art. When I finished I went on to my good copy and drew my pattern. After that I painted my pattern. Then my teacher took a picture of my face which she glued on half of my paper. After I used pencil and drew my 2000 style. Then I dyed my paper. Finally I coloured the other half of my face and I was finished. I think it is really fun doing art my favourite part of doing this art was painting.

Swimming at Cameron pools

This Tuesday we went to Cameron Pools there were groups that went into the Nan's Pool and the pool that some of the seniors go to. The Nan's Pool is the pool for the middle school. I didn't go in the Nan's Pool I went in the big pool. There were coaches that teach each group. My coach's name was Tracey. She told us to float on our back first then we had to float on our stomach. After I had to freestyle to the other side of the lane then come back my legs were killing me after I finished doing freestyle. Then

we went out of the pool and changed our clothes in the boys changing room. Then we lined up in a line and then we went in the bus to go back school. I really like swimming.
